Initial polling results for LD 23 House of Representatives

Initial results are posted for legislative district 23 state house race with Mariana Sandoval pulling ahead in the democratic votes and Michele Pena taking the lead among republican voters.

According to results posted on the Secretary of State’s website, Democratic incumbent Sandoval is ahead, polling at 48.49% with 6,655 out of 13,633 democratic ballots cast. Sandoval is being trailed by Matias Rosales and James Holmes.  

Republican incumbent Pena, running unopposed within her party, has 6,684, or 100% of republican votes.
