Did you get a confusing pamphlet in the mail about Proposition 482 this week?
The 31-page pamphlet sent by the city offers details of a 728-acre land sale measure on the November ballot but gives a confusing view of where each parcel sits.
So, we created a map that not only shows the location of the 18 parcels but also where some much-anticipated projects are heading if the voters pass the measure, and the sales go through.
What to expect from Prop 482
Arizona law requires city land sales valued over $1.5 million be first approved by voters in a special election before the sale can occur.
City documents did not specify the valuation of the land, but the sale includes 328 acres of the $29.3 million industrial land purchase Maricopa City Council approved in April.
