MUSD names Sorrento site for new middle school

School board leaders are poised to choose the future site of Maricopa’s third middle school, about 30 acres in the fast-growing Sorrento community.

The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in its hearing room at the district’s administrative offices, 44150 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.

A map shows the proposed school site nestled in the subdivision just south of North Sorrento Boulevard across from the intersection with West Capri Avenue.
