New CG fire station quickly taking shape

CASA GRANDE — Construction of the new fire station at Rodeo Road and Pinal Avenue is progressing well and believed to be only a few months from completion.

Fire Chief Dave Kean told PinalCentral he and his firefighters are thrilled with the progress by Core Construction and can’t wait to see the 14,000-square-foot Station 503 worth $11.5 million finally completed.

“It’s starting to really take shape and people are starting to see what it’s going to look like,” Kean said. “They’re starting to see the vision that is a beautiful building. It’s going to be very large to accommodate our needs. They’ve gotten all the walls up, they’ve got most of the roof structure on and now it’s very exciting going inside because before it was just a big giant room. Now you are really seeing the scope and what’s it’s all going to entail.
