Phoenix redraws Central Business District boundaries

Phoenix has approved expanding its Central Business District boundaries to encourage development in a broader area east and south of downtown.

The new district boundaries are generally located from McDowell Road on the northern portion, Broadway Road for the south and between 23rd Avenue and 20th Street from west to east. City Council approved the updated boundaries at its June 26 meeting.
