Republican Werner, Democrat Marsh ahead in polls for District 4 senator

Carine Werner is leading over Kenneth R. Bower Jr. in Republican party votes for Arizona State Senate District 4, shows unofficial results by the Maricopa County Elections Department.

Results posted at 8:02 p.m. July 30 show Werner leading with 13,932 votes or 61.55% while Bowers has 8,702 votes or 38.45%, according to the election’s department.

Democrat Christine Marsh is the incumbent state senator and uncontested in her party, receiving 100% of 19,404 votes.
