Avondale hires new assistant city manager

The city of Avondale recently named and brought on Katie Gregory as its new assistant city manager.

“I was thrilled and excited that Ron and the team at Avondale chose me and are giving me the opportunity,” Gregory said. “I’m very excited to have a great place. I’ve been in the West Valley for a long time and Avondale is one that has a real opportunity now to come into its own and really decide where it wants to go in the next 10 to 20 years.”

As assistant city manager Gregory will support the city manager, Ron Corbin, in his work with the city council. That support will be in the form of helping to implement programs and policies that are brought forward as part of the council’s direction.
