ELOY — As he makes his way around the district he represents, U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., made a quick stop Monday in Eloy, where he sat down with city leaders to discuss potential funding he helped to earmark for the city for upcoming road projects.
Current Eloy Mayor Micah Powell greeted Ciscomani, and they walked through a photo gallery on display at Eloy City Hall showcasing the city’s history.
“It’s not every day that we get to host our federally elected officials,” Powell said during the meeting. “I always appreciate when someone like Representative Ciscomani can show up and show that he cares about what is happening in this community.”
