Phase one of Banner Health’s plan to build a $400 million medical campus near the intersection of North Hayden Road and the Loop 101 can begin any time.

The Scottsdale Development Review Board approved the aesthetics of the medical office portion of the project during its Sept. 19 meeting.

The vote was 5-0 in favor of the project with board members Ali Fakih and Ed Peaser not present at the meeting.

The 119,500 square foot medical office will be on an 15-acre portion of land, which is already zoned for medical offices so no further approvals except building permits are required at this point.
The exterior of the center will consist of masonry and stucco and lights that will change color about once a month.
