Inland Port apartment complex approved by Coolidge City Council

COOLIDGE — A 20-acre apartment complex, which had earned the blessing of the Coolidge Planning and Zoning Commission last month, is now officially in the first stages of development after being approved by the City Council on Monday, Oct. 14.

Mike Lafferty of Lafferty Development Inc. had been working alongside his engineers for approval. However, Lafferty stressed to the council that all concerns were specifically addressed. “We took your recommendations sincerely and we changed everything that you had a problem with before,” he said in addressing the council. Issues about the number of units per building and concerns over exiting the complex were specifically mentioned before Lafferty explained what was done to fix the issues.
