The Valley housing market is starting to tilt toward buyers, but slowly, according to a leading analyst of the residential real estate scene in Maricopa and Pinal counties.
A “negative trend” for sellers that started three weeks ago “continues and buyers are gaining negotiation power,” the Cromford Report said last week, “though the trend remains mild and excludes the highest price ranges.”
The Cromford Report said sales data over the last four months show that 10 of 17 Valley cities it monitors are approaching a balanced market where neither sellers nor buyers have an edge “and that includes the two largest cities – Phoenix and Mesa.”
