More construction begins on Maricopa’s west side in just a matter of weeks.

Arlington, Texas-based Forestar Group has submitted new permit paperwork to install banners for the upcoming Moonlight Ridge community at Smith-Enke and Green Roads, revealed in a public records request to the city last week.

The signage is specific to streetlight-mounted banners lining Green Road and Moonlight Drive to advertise the community’s promised attractions and amenities. This includes desert views, walking trails, soccer fields and an 18-hole disc golf course.

City spokesperson Monica Williams said developers will “complete the infrastructure such as utilities and roadways” in the coming months, followed by home construction. She did not have an estimated date for when construction may begin.
