FLORENCE — Light-industrial uses have been proposed on 100 agricultural acres between Butte Avenue and Diversion Dam Road.
Langley Properties held a neighborhood meeting Nov. 6 to present its plans to seek rezoning on the property located at the southeast corner of Diversion Dam and Bowling roads.
The neighborhood meeting was the first step in the process, and several neighbors attended to learn about the proposed use. The Florence General Plan already designates the land as industrial. The owner, Langley Lewis Holdings LLC, intends to seek Light Industrial zoning to comply with the General Plan and make it available for a builder.
