Luxury developer unveils north Scottsdale community

Scottsdale-based Sonora West Development, which has completed nearly $2 billion in luxury projects, is unveiling its newest community in north Scottsdale, where home prices start at $2.5 million.

Scott Pfeiffer, who started his career as a framer in college before founding Sonora West Development in 2000, said he’s nearly finished with two model homes for Serene, a community of 21 semi-custom homes near Dynamite and Alma School roads.
