Pinal County’s SR-24 Extension and Central Arizona Parkway project is advancing to address the growing transportation needs of San Tan Valley and nearby communities. This major infrastructure project aims to create a new four-lane parkway that will extend State Route 24 east of Ironwood Road, connecting to the Central Arizona Project (CAP) canal, and continuing south to Ocotillo Road. The first phase of this project, with an estimated completion date in the coming years, is designed to alleviate traffic congestion, improve regional connectivity, and support ongoing population growth.
