Coolidge adopts new general plan

COOLIDGE — The Coolidge City Council learned officially at its Nov. 25 meeting that the proposed 2035 General Plan had passed in the Nov. 5 election.

The plan passed with a lead of only 9.9% at 2,879 yes votes and 2,356 no votes. The council approved the adoption of the results without comment.

The new General Plan was initiated in 2023 with public meetings for the different elements to get more participation.
