Microsoft to debut ‘zero water’ data center in Valley

Microsoft Corp. says its new data center design that consumes “zero water” for cooling will be put to the test in its Phoenix metro data center projects.

The computing giant’s newest data center being built in Goodyear will be a pilot location for the recently unveiled technology, which it said will save more than 42 million gallons of water per facility each year.
