CASA GRANDE — Target is exploring a possible return to Casa Grande and the major retailer has submitted a minor site plan to the city’s Planning and Development Department.
That plan, marked as “preliminary not for construction,” outlines upgrades to the parking lot that features 597 spaces, landscaping, installation of stop signs, road area restriping and pavement improvements for the site at the Promenade at Casa Grande.
The plan also includes rendered imagery that would adorn the building, which covers some 126,842 square feet of retail space.
While the plan has been submitted to the city, a Target spokesperson told PinalCentral on Dec. 16 that the company “did not have any new-store news at this time.” Target is increasing its footprint in Arizona with future new stores listed on the corporate website for Queen Creek and Surprise.
