Valley company seeks to build condos near sports stadiums

Scottsdale-based Nations Group has rolled out Club Residences, an effort to provide new revenue for universities and their athletic departments by developing condominiums on what’s usually the most valuable real estate in a college town, next to the college football stadium.

This is a new undertaking for Nations Group, a leading force in the college athletics facility project management field; with Club Residences, Nations Group will be involved in ways ranging from adviser all the way to full developer. Earlier this year Nations Group was hired by by Northwestern University in Illinois to oversee the construction of its temporary, on-campus football stadium, and is set to start work on a $700 million renovation of Penn State’s Beaver Stadium.
