One of the main contracts for a project that will change the look and function of one of Chandler’s older streets has been approved by the City Council.
An $11.1 million contract with Granite Construction for much of the work on the Frye Road Protected Bike Lane Project was greenlighted when the Chandler City Council unanimously approved its Jan. 23 consent agenda.
A staff report states a grant covers about 95% of the total project cost.
