From a North Scottsdale plant that does “ultra purification,” the city plans to turn water flushed down toilets into drinking-quality water.
While the process may sound like magic, a private company says it can top that.
Forget “toilets to taps” – this is “air to cups.”
Kara Water claims it has perfected what it calls “air-to-water technology.”
Though in his other career as a promoter he is no stranger to hyperbole, Kerry Dunne says Kara Water is 100% true and legit.
Drawing a cup from what appears to be a regular water machine, Dunne says, “This is something that’s science fiction – without the fiction.”
With the flick of a switch, the machine he was working, he said, “brings pure water out of air.
“Really crazy stuff,” he said, with the excitement of a teenager about to play a favorite pop song.
Though only an Andy Warhol fan would find this water cooler artful, Dunne says – doing nothing more than plugging it in – “You can get 10 liters of water out of here every single day. That’s about 20 bottles of water.”
