Costco may build center in East Valley

The new Costco Business Center in Chandler will have a 15-pump gas station, too. (City of Chandler)

A different kind of Costco may soon be coming to Chandler. The buy-in-bulk giant wants to build a Costco Business Center on the southwest corner of Alma School and Pecos roads.

It will be the second Costco Business Center in the Valley if approved by the City Council. It was unanimously recommended for approval by Chandler’s Planning & Zoning Commission at the Jan. 15 meeting.

Costco plans to build a 15-pump gas station along with the Business Center on the 18.65 acres and any Costco member could use the gas station or shop at the business center.
