Claiming the No. 1 spot for ten years straight, Taylor Morrison—No. 7 on the 2024 Builder 100 list—is considered the most trusted home builder in 2025. According to the 2025 America’s Most Trusted Home Builder Study from Lifestory Research, Taylor Morrison earned a net trust quotient score of 110.1.
The rankings are based on 66, 973 opinions of consumers in the U.S. over the last 12 months. Participants in the study rate home builders based on trustworthiness, quality, positive word of mouth, overall impression, perceptions of quality, and likelihood to recommend.
Compared to last year’s rankings, K. Hovnanian climbed two spots from No. 7 to No. 5 and Richmond American climbed from No. 11 to No. 8 to join the top 10.
