The Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission only had one action item agenda at its Feb. 19 meeting — although the board added a few stipulations before approving it.
That item is a proposed area plan amendment to rezone a 1.94-acre parcel from mixed-use, commercial, office, and specialty retail to multi-family and a preliminary development plan for an apartment complex in west Chandler called Nirvana at Ellis.
The plan amendment would rezone the parcel from planned area development for commercial office to PAD for multi-family. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended the Chandler City Council approve the plan and changes at an upcoming meeting by a 5-0 vote, adding three stipulations that weren’t in the staff report.
