Valley economic development director to retire

The city of Glendale’s Economic Development Director Jessi Pederson has announced her retirement and resignation from her role.

She plans to take a sabbatical to focus on her family and personal interests, the city said in an announcement on Feb. 27. Her last day working for the city will be March 7.
