The annual State of the City event highlighted Casa Grande’s continuing strong economy and growth.
Mayor Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons was joined Wednesday by fellow city councilmembers Mayor Pro Tem Matt Herman, Anthony Edwards, Sean Dugan, Rebecca Romo, Brent BeDillon and Bob Huddleston as they provided updates and reports on council initiatives.
In delivering her first such speech, Fitzgibbons told a capacity audience at the Community Recreation Center that during the past year Casa Grande had experienced “tremendous growth,” for which she credited the leadership of current and previous councils, supported by “exceptional city staff and community support.”
