One of the largest projects under construction in downtown Phoenix will wrap up this year and is expected to change the downtown experience once it’s open.

It’s called Central Station, located at Central Avenue and Van Buren Street. The project has been 10 years in the making but will finally be completed in 2025.

The tallest part stretches 33 stories. That tower will be for multi-family housing. On the west side, there’s another 22-story tower that will be for ASU student housing. On the ground floor, there will be what the city describes as a walkable experience with retail, restaurants, and office space. There will also be space for outdoor events, art shows, and farmers’ markets.
