Yesterday, Rose Law Group partner & Maricopa County Board Chairman Tom Galvin met with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin regarding concerns about counterproductive federal air quality regulations in the Valley.
Supervisor Galvin was invited by US Senator Mark Kelly and the Arizona Chamber of Commerce to join this bipartisan & productive discussion. Galvin stressed at the meeting that it’s important we don’t trim the sails of economic progress while we use a common sense approach on air quality standards.
The proposed EPA regulations are the biggest concern for local economic development at the moment.
Zeldin made clear he understands the issue and he will work to address the local concerns.
