A new addition to the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center campus in Gilbert is providing a respite for cancer patients and their caregivers.
The Banner Wellness Center, which officially opened in January, was built in collaboration with homebuilder Taylor Morrison and featured on the two-part season finale of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”
The center, designed as an extension of the nearby homes used for long-term patient stays in Banner’s “Home Away from Home” program, aims to create a supportive environment that prioritizes physical and emotional well-being. Banner officials are calling it a great addition to the campus.
