Phoenix City Manager Jeff Barton advances his commitment to the strategic use of data, transparency and continuous improvements with the launch of the City Manager’s Performance Dashboard 2.0. The enhanced performance dashboard features more than 165 key performance indicators across 31 city departments and functions, including Police, Fire, Homeless Solutions, Housing, Street Transportation, and more.
“The City Manager’s Performance Dashboard is a window into city operations, providing residents a picture of the performance of departments, programs and services, as well as the overall health of the city,” says City Manager Jeff Barton. “We listened to resident input and are providing more information about each metric, reorganizing data to make it easier to navigate, and showing progress toward established long-term goals.”
The City Manager’s Performance Dashboard was originally launched in June of 2022, with 130 key performance indicators across 28 city departments and functions. It was created with the idea that it would be dynamic and evolving to reflect changes in operations and priorities over time across the city, with the mission of continuous improvements and transparency at its core.
The enhanced Dashboard includes the addition of new metrics pages, including Homeless Solutions, and more than 30 new key performance indicators across six strategic areas: General Government, Public Safety, Transportation & Infrastructure, Neighborhoods & Livability, Planning, Zoning & Economic Development, and Culture & Recreation.
