Steve Miller has seen much change in Pinal County in the 53 years since he decided to move to the area.
Some of those changes he saw on the horizon long before they ever really came to fruition.
“When I moved here 50 years ago, I moved here because I said ‘this place has a future,’” he said. “When you sit on the confluence of (Interstate) 10 and I-8, two major freeways, and a railroad, that’s like the perfect combination for industry of some type. It probably came 40 years later than I thought it might, but when it came, it came fast.
