President Trump reportedly pardons Nikola founder Trevor Milton

President Donald Trump has reportedly pardoned Nikola founder Trevor Milton after he was convicted of securities and wire fraud in 2022 based on allegations that he lied about the Phoenix-based electric truck company’s technology and capabilities.

Milton said in a March 27 Instagram video that President Trump informed him of the “full and unconditional pardon” via a phone call, stating it was “probably the best day I’ve had in five years.”

“I am free. The prosecutors can no longer hurt me,” Milton said. “They can’t destroy my family. They can’t rip everything away from me. They can’t ruin my life.”
