Maricopa City Council last night unanimously approved an $897,336 land sale to Mesa developer Northrim Elevate Holdings for a future trampoline park.
The empty 2-acre parcel sits at the southwest corner of John Wayne and Alterra Parkways. This is the first news of the incoming Elevate Trampoline Park since July when then-City Manager Rick Horst first teased the 25,000-square-foot entertainment venue.
Horst acknowledged at the time that Elevate would be among the first projects in its industry, stating the city needed “more entertainment, more things for kids to do and families to do.” In January, InMaricopa reported another family fun destination proposed near Copper Sky.
