Election control: Galvin discussed the board’s battle with County Recorder Justin Heap over who controls elections. 

Budget preview: Galvin provided a sneak peek of the county budget in light of Trump’s tariffs and possible effects on the local economy. 

Diamondbacks status: Chairman Galvin also talked D-Backs legislation and called for looking at “alternative ideas regarding the way stadiums should be funded.” 

NHL return: He also gave an update on NHL hockey potentially returning to the Valley.
