The Pinal County Board of Supervisors heard details of Pinal’s five-year Transportation Improvement and Maintenance Program as recommended by the county’s Transportation Advisory Committee.

A 30-day comment period on the plan began Monday. An online comment form will be available to view, complete and submit on the Public Public Works transportation planning web page. This year the committee is recommending 30 total projects in budget year 2028-29, totaling $16,344,000, Pinal Transportation Planning Supervisor Tara Harmon told the board on Wednesday, April 16. This includes a little more than $12 million in rehabilitation, reconstruction or maintenance; nearly $3.7 million in paving and other projects; and $500,000 in safety projects.
