Thirty acres of land located southeast of Meridian Road and the Queen Creek wash is set to be purchased by the town for $14.9 million.

The Queen Creek Town Council will be taking up the purchase at its Wednesday, May 7 meeting. The item is on the consent agenda which is voted on through one motion and vote.

The town began considering the purchase of the land for use as a park in May 2024, when the council approved a development agreement with Queen Creek Acres Limited Partnership to assist Bosma Farms with developing about 136 acres located north and east of the northeast corner of Combs and Meridian roads.
