Goodyear goes all in to lure tourists

Goodyear is ramping up efforts to court more Arizona residents and business travelers to the city to boost job creation and tourism-related revenue.

Some key attractions include Goodyear’s Ballpark, the spring training facility for the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians that already brings about 350,000 annual visitors. Hospitality projects, such as the developing GSQ area, include new restaurants, retailers and entertainment concepts. And Arizona’s very first Buc-ee’s location is currently under construction, promising to attract road-weary travelers to the city for gas, beef jerky and cult-favorite travel center accommodations.
