Lowe’s in Maricopa gives reporters early peek

A month ago, they hinted at an opening date. Now, Lowe’s Home Improvement is ready to let the masses know.

Maricopa’s next big-box home improvement retailer confirmed today it will host a grand opening at its newest location, 44400 W. Honeycutt Ave., on July 25, a Friday.

“We’re super close,” Store Manager Adrienne Gile told InMaricopa this morning. “The community is really excited about [the opening], which makes it more fun. The buzz and the amount of people we get showing up or asking about the opening is super cool.”

Contractors were observed installing displays and warehouse bays in preparation for when merchandise begins arriving in the coming weeks. Gile added that the Maricopa staff have started training.
