[OP-ED] Why Resolution Copper mine is a ‘game changer’ for town of Superior

In the town of Superior, we know mining. It’s part of our past, and if done right, it can be a powerful part of our future. As the Resolution Copper project moves forward, our community is thinking not just about the mine itself, but about the new generation of jobs, businesses, and opportunities it could bring to this region.

As a chamber of commerce, our mission is to support small businesses and help Superior grow in a way that reflects our values: local pride, economic strength and sustainability. That’s why we’ve been talking with business owners across town about what this project could mean. And one thing is clear. If permitted and developed responsibly, Resolution Copper could be a game changer.
