Rebirth is requested for Smoke Tree Resort

The Smoke Tree Resort on the eastern end of Paradise Valley is taking another step toward a complete renovation.

Scottsdale-based real estate investment firm Walton Global wants to increase the room count from 82 to 95, and transform the site into a modern boutique resort.

To do this, the town will have to approve their application for a minor special-use permit amendment.
