Chandler econ director nabs state award

Chandler’s economic development director has received an annual award from a statewide trade organization.

Micah Miranda was recognized as the Policymaker of the Year by the Association for Career Technical Education of Arizona. He received the award during the ACTE annual conference awards breakfast in Tucson.

The Policymaker of the Year Award honors people who have made significant contributions to advancing career and technical education opportunities across Arizona, according to a news release.
