Defense manufacturer invests in East Valley factory

A California-based defense and aerospace manufacturer that focuses heavily on AI and automation plans to invest $200 million into a new factory in Mesa, the Arizona Commerce Authority announced Thursday.

The company, Hadrian, plans a 270,000-square-foot facility — dubbed Factory 3, or F3 — that is expected to create 350 new jobs and be fully operational by early 2026.

The facility will be located in Building A inside The Cubes at Mesa Gateway project from CRG Integrated Real Estate Solutions. Greg Matter, Kyle Westfall, Eric Turner, Meredith O’Connor and Ada Wong of JLL represented Hadrian in its lease negotiations, and JLL’s Steve Larsen, Pat Harlan and Jason Moore are the property’s exclusive listing brokers.
