Flagstaff P&Z discusses adaptive reuse incentives

The City of Flagstaff’s Planning and Zoning Commission recently discussed a proposed amendment to a part of zoning code meant to incentive the reuse of existing buildings into housing.

This would be a change to the city’s “single use residential and adaptive reuse zoning code,” which zoning code manager Tiffany Antol and housing planning manager Jennifer Mikelson presented to the commission during a work session to discuss the planned changes following a similar presentation to the Housing Commission last month.

The item is expected to return to the commission for a public hearing in August.
