Pinal Partnership executive director reflects on rewarding elements of community development

CASA GRANDE — Ask Rina Rien about the wins she’s managed to garner for Casa Grande and the Pinal County community, and she’ll share how those who came before her paved the way.

Whether it be through her work with Casa Grande Main Street or her current position with Pinal Partnership, Rien is quick to point out how the people who were in leadership roles before her made it possible to add to what they had already set into motion.

They include individuals like Marge Jantz, whom she credits with helping her to understand the importance of historic preservation — even before her time with Casa Grande Main Street.
