Return of the casitas

If this was a scary movie, experts would be scrambling to defend the city against unwanted, mutating invaders.

“Return of the Casitas,” the flick would have to be called.

Here in real-life Scottsdale, City Council thought they had a defense shield.

But now …

“Horrific,” one commissioner warned, after new legislation potentially cracks – if not dismantles – Scottsdale’s casitas shield.

Starting in January, most Scottsdale homeowners who don’t have HOA’s that prevent additions will be able to build casitas.
