City Attorney Sherry Scott is yet another high-level “resignation” since City Attorney Greg Caton took over in January.
From the July 1 City Council “executive agenda”:
“The Mayor to execute Agreement No. 2025-114-GOS, a Resignation Agreement and General Release for City Attorney, Sherry Scott
“Luis Santaella is appointed Interim City Attorney retroactive to June 17, 2025 at an annual salary of $319,000 with the same benefits he currently receives until such time as a permanent City Attorney can be appointed and begin employment.
