CASA GRANDE — Business has never been better for Land Advisors broker Kirk McCarville, a former member of the City Council.
The longtime local can remember a time when he was fearful that the phone might ring in his office. These days, McCarville’s phone is constantly ringing. When PinalCentral was taken on a guided tour of the city’s burgeoning industrial sector in the Burris and Peters roads vicinity, his motorcycle ringtone was always revving.
“When I first started out I was afraid the phone was going to ring because I didn’t know anything about real estate,” he said. “My degree was in agriculture and I started out in residential like almost all agents do and I hated it. I started selling farms but then farms in the path of growth tend to become industrial because they have water and it’s just a transition that happened. My business plan changed five or six times over the last 30 to 40 years and this is where I ended up, in industrial.”
