Adding housing, retail space and job opportunities long has been a goal of the Eloy City Council. At Monday’s council meeting, those goals were advanced with approval of the Eloy Commons Project.
Eloy Commons is a large-scale residential and industrial site located on Sunshine Boulevard just south of Interstate 10.
The project is divided into two sections, Eloy Commons North and Eloy Commons South. The north side of the project includes around 21 acres intended for light industrial use, while the remaining 12 acres of the project will be used for medium- to high-density residential.
