Maricopa is getting an extra voice in the county’s transportation committee.
Supervisor Rich Vitiello appointed Glennwilde resident Tena Dugan to Pinal County’s Transportation Advisory Committee during a Wednesday meeting.
It’s a move that’s been a long time coming, Vitiello said. Dugan previously served on a citizen oversight committee for the 2017 voter-approved transportation tax that was later axed. More recently she’s been involved in the 347 Facts committee, a citizen-led initiative to educate and generate support for widening State Route 347.
