DT Phoenix adds affordable senior apartments

Pennrose, Butler Housing Company, CBC Financial Corp, the City of Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Housing, and project partners gathered today to celebrate significant progress on Garfield Terrace, a $57 million, multi-phase development bringing 120 high-quality, affordable senior apartments to Downtown Phoenix’s Garfield Historic District. The event commemorated the grand opening of Garfield Terrace Phase I and the start of construction on Phase II.

Speakers at the ceremony included: Shannon Cox Baker, Regional Vice President, Pennrose; Ruby Dhillon-Williams, Director, Arizona Department of Housing; Titus Mathew, Housing Director, PHXHousing; Herb Jackson, Vice President & Housing Director, Greater Phoenix Urban League; Mary Noor, Senior Vice President – Market Executive, Phoenix Market, Bank of America; and Tom Anderson, Senior Vice President, Pennrose.
